Course Designers

New Course Designs for 2019! 

Jay Hambly 

 With the addition of the new division, 2019 is the year you will see new course designs.  We have been  fortunate enough to be able to work with Jay Hambly, FEI 3*-4* Course Designer. Jay began his career in 1995 under David Evans where he was the main builder at the 2008 Olympics under David’s Design. Since then he has gone on to Design courses throughout North and Central America. Jay has played an integral role in events including Bromont, Richland, Galway Downs, Rebecca Farms and most recently, he was named as one of the lead builders at the 2020 Tokyo Olympics.  And now, FRVPC Horse Trials will proudly be offering his course design!!! 

Brody Robertson

To enhance the offerings, the stadium course design will be done by Brody Robertson. Brody is a top rated Grand Prix Rider, Trainer, Judge and Course Designer.  He is a member of the USEF Central Region Jumper committee and the USHJA Jumper Council committee. His resume over the last 15 years includes the Alltech World Equestrian Games, Logines World Cup Finals, HITS, Carolina Horse Trials, Hagyard Mid-South, Plantation Fields, Richland, Queeny Park and May Daze.  To be able to add his caliber of design to the FRVPC Horse Trials will make it an event not to miss!
